Youth Art Exhibit At Library
COURT HOUSE - The County Library's walls and display cases are bulging with a new art exhibit, "Art Par Excellence", which contains 27 works in a variety of media from lineoieum block prints to crayon. The artists are youngsters between 8 and 18 who are in special education classes scattered throughout New Jersey. A wide range of subjects and treatments is represent-
ed in the exhibit, which the public is invited to attend during regular library hours. ( Monday through Fridays 8:30 a.m. -9 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. -4:30 p.m. and Sundays 1-5 p.m.). THE AREA BEHIND the circulation desk displays eight items which include a lineoieum block print entitled "Jumping Trout" by Robert King, 13. from Passaic County and a colorfur acrylic by 14-year-old

In the reference area, i; eight other items are being displayed, among them: e "Desert Reverie", done in s poster paints and collage, a making use of perspective and mirage intages; an oil y portrait of singer Eddie Van j Halen done by Hector Pichardo, 17, from Bergen j County. THE DISPLAY cases on the right as one enters the library also contain several of the smaller pieces. They include a pastel entitled "Trees in Summer" by Alden Clinton, 17, from Essex County and a "Still Life" by Jill Rogaski, a 12-year-old, done in brown marker. The exhibit was funded by the New Jersey Council of the Arts and will be at the library until April 6.
