April 8: Bean soup, stuffed Creole pepper, tossed salad/French dressing, cinnamon bun. April 9: Manhattan clam chowder, baked fish fillet. Tarter sauce/cocktail sauce, buttered carrots, cherry cobbler. April 10: Manicotti w/tomato sauce, meat balls, tossed salad/creamy Italian dressing, fruit cocktail. April 1 1 : Beef stew, boiled potato, peas and carrots, applesauce cake. Each meal is accompanied by bread, margarine, coffee, tea, or milk. Snacks, delivered with mobile meals to the homebound are: April 7: Chicken pot pie, lettuce/tomato salad, mayonnaise, pear, milk. April 8: Egg salad sandwich, apple, milk April 9: Hard boiled eggs, tomato/lettuce, mayonnaise crackers, orange, milk. April 10: Ham sandwich on rye bread, mustard packet, cole slaw, milk, pear. April 11: Tuna fish salad sandwich, orange, milk. Art Show For Seniors Is May 20 COURT HOUSE - The annual Senior, Citizens Juried Art Contest and Ex hibition will be 10 a.m., with judging to begin 11 a.m., May 20 at the County Library, Mechanic Street. Any artist 60 or older living in the county is eligible. The winning entries will stay on exhibit in the library the rest of May and will be taken to the State House in Trenton July 21 and entered in the state contest. The event is one of the ac- ' tivities of "Older Americans Month". Applications are available at the Department of Aging, the county's senior centers, and the library. For additional information, call 886-2784. Jamboree For Seniors AVALON — In recognition of May as Older American Month, a jamboree open to all senior citizens of the county will beheld 11 a.m. - 2p m. May 8 at the Avalon Community Alall, 30th and Avalon Avenues. The jamboree wilf feature prizes, entertainment, and lunch. It is cosponsored by the Borough of Avalon. the county Office of Aging, and the county Coordinating Council of Senior Citizen Organizations.
