The bill, A-1776, extends for nine months the implementation of the Special Law Enforcement Officers Act, signed into law earlier this year by Kean. "Postponing the act for nine months will give the municipalities the needed time to train and equip special law enforcement officers to meet the special needs of the upcoming tourist season," said Muziani.
