Hunsberger Produces New Cards WILDWOOD CREST - Douglas Hunsberger. praised as the -Mastermind of Postcard Inventions" by Amusement Business Weekly, has unveiled eight newdesigner series postcards for the 1986 summer season. Card highlights include Wildwood's amusement piers, new wrap-around color border designs, and state-of-the-art photography The photographs are unique because of the technical expertise provided by both the photographer and the amusement pier owners. Rides were stopped in predetermined positions to create the illusion of a freeze frame. This was made possible by placing the computers controlling the amusements on override THEN. PRECISELY at twilight, the rides were stopped and time exposure of up to five seconds were made using a high quality, slowspeed film. Hunsberger's cards were the first to depict a male bathing beauty <to the delight of female vacationers > These were follow ed by other non-traditional subjects such as the Wildwood Lifeguards and current female bathing beauties. Hunsberger was also the first photographer to provide a series of scenic view cards featuring full color border designs. s e e i-
