Rio Grande Takes Wider Net Lead

V CAPE MAY - Rio Grande Building Materials extended its first place lead in Coed Recreation Volleyball as it swept past Pete's Racquet Club 15-13, 15-13, 15-3 and 15-7. Cape May Mobile Estates and the Comedy Club split their four games, with Mobile Estates winn- - ing 15-1 and 15-7 behind the serves of Donnie Anderson and the play of Dawn Anderson. In the Comedy Club's and 15-5 victories, Joanne DeCosta and Mary Gallagher played well for their team. AFTER LOSING the first game 15-11 to Roth's Real United Way Meeting Is April 16 COURT HOUSE - United Way of Cape May County will hold its annual meeting 7 :30 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, in the Old Court House Building. Main Street. The public is invited. The final report dn the results of the 1986 campaign will be given and the allocations to United Way Agencies will be reviewed. Election of officers and board members will be held along with a discussion on ways to promote volunteerism within United V Way. Quarter Horse Event COLD SPRING - The 27th Annual South Jersey Quarter Horse Circuit, sponsored by the Hidden Valley Riding Club for the benefit of the Louis R. Dickinson Scholarship Program, will be held April 22 - 26 at Hidden Valley Ranch here. , Thirty-three performance events and 28 halter classes are scheduled for the five-day show, beginning at 8 a.m. each day. More than 350 daily entries are expected to compete in the American Quarter Horse Association approved show. WESTERN EVENTS include reining, western riding, western pleasure, western horsemanship and trail, while jumping, hunter hack, working hunter, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation * and pleasure driving comprise the English events. There is a complete Youth Division and an Amateur Division, in addition to the Open Division. There is no charge for admission and food is available all day on the grounds.
