Bank Has Liberty Coins

PENNINGTON - "This April. New Jersey National Bank joins the national effort to restore the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island through the distribution of United States Liberty Coins," announced John H. Walther. the bank's chairman. New Jersey National signed a consignment agreement with the Department of the Treasury, allowing the bank to participate in the United States Liberty Coin Program by distributing the coins through the bank's offices in central and southern New Jersey.

Liberty Coin sales will be donated to the Statue of Liberty — Ellis Island Foundation The goal of this commemorative coin issue is to raise $40 million to $50 million for the restoration project. Featuring the Statue of Liberty, the United States Liberty Coins are packaged in presentation cases, ready for imme'diate display. The selection of commemorative coins includes a half dollar, a silver dollar or a set of both coins. The United States Liberty Coins will be available at New Jersey National Bank offices through July 1986.
