RIO GRANDE" - A distribution of cheese and rice to the county's needy will be conducted May 14-16 by Cape Human Resources Inc., the county's lead agency for distributing federal surplus food. The county Welfare Board will again cooperating in the program. Automatically eligible for the food are: individuals and families on public assistance, food stamps. Supplemental Security Income (SSI); Women. Infants, and Children (WIC) General Assistance and Medicaid. OTHER PEOPLE are also eligible, if they have an annual income of up to $9,713 for a single person and $13,043 for a couple. Eligible persons must bring proof of income or participation in one of the programs mentioned or sign a self-certification attesting W> their incomes Distribution sites and dates are: Wednesday, May 14 — Cape Human Resources Inc. .
