Museum, Zoo Trip

STONE HARBOR - I America's first zoo, the Philadelphia Zoo, and the Philadelphia Maritime Museum are the destination of a special Wetlands Teen Arts On Display OCEAN CITY - The Cape May County Teen Arts Committee invites the public to attend a special evening performance at the Ocean City Music Pier 7:30 p.m. Friday. A representati"e number of performances in dance, music and theatre will be featured as well as a visual arts exhibit. Admission is free. AAUW Holds Style Show AVALON — The annual fashion show and luncheon of the American Association of University Women will be held noon Saturday at the Whitdbrier Inn here, with Dianne S. Lennon, 1985-86 president of the Southern New Jersey Nutrition Council, as guest speaker. Proceeds will go to the National AAUW's Education Fund Program ( EFP ) . to advance the education and careers of women. Lennon was the recipient of an EFP grant.

Institute Family bus trip Saturday, May 3. Leaving from the institute at 8 a.m., accompanied by zoologist Roger Wood, the group will arrive at the Maritime Museum for a 10 a.m. guided tour and special presentation of "Whales and Whalers". NEXT WILL be the zoo. the Children's Zoo, and the newly constructed Treehouse. Dr. Wood will act as guide, along with a guide from the zoo staff. Departure from the zoo will be 4:30 p.m. and arrival at the institute is expected 6 p.m. Reservations can be secured by calling the Institute at 368-1211.
