Honor Rolls Given At Wildwood H.S.

WILDWOOD - Honor rolls for the third marking period at Wildwood High School have been announced. with six students being named on the First Honor Roll, which requires all "A's". First honors went to Scott Sawyer, senior; Margaret Borneman and John Ernst, juniors; Dana Einhaus and John Social May 2 VILLAS - The Ladies Auxiliary of the Villas Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor a social 7 p.m. Friday. Susan Youst 3rd (in/tiers' Posters Win VILLAS — The students at Lower Township Memorial School recently participated in an Easter Poster Contest sponsored by the City of Wildwood. The event was part of the annual Easter celebration held in Wildwood Convention Hall and on the Boardwalk Easter Sunday. It included posters from elementary schools throughout the county. Nichole Halbruner won first place and Shannon DeCosta third place in the Third Grade division.

Champagne Fling Set May 18

AVALON — Dr. Max Gomex, an Emmy Awardwinning science and health reporter for KYW-TV, will be the special guest host of the Champagne Fling XV. fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society, 3-7 p.m., Sunday, May 18. at the Golden Inn here. Spickofsky stress that this event represents the efforts of many Cape May County residents. PROCEEDS FROM the Champagne Fling contribute to cancer patients and programs in the county. The highlight of the event is an auction of 85 unusual gift packages. Last year, over 100 businesses donated items which included antiques, fine clothing, sporting goods, landscape pieces, and dinners. Dancing and music will be the "FTve Easy Pieces".
