Brochure Offers Credit Card Tips

ROSELAND - A new brochure offering 25 tips to help consumers decide which credit cards are best for them is now available from the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. This brochure, "Choosing a Credit Card? These 25 Tips May Save You Money," is being introduced as part of National Consumers Week, running Sunday through this Saturday. Produced by the American Institute of CPAs in cooperation with the United States Office of ( Consumer Affairs, the brochure offers advice on how to establish a credit history, where to write to Stites Attends Fiscal Meeting COURT HOUSE - Edwin F. Stites Jr. attended the annual conference of the Tax Collectors and Treasurers Association of New Jersey at Great Gorge last week. Stites. Middle Township treasurer, is chaplain of the statewide association which includes members from the state's 567 municipalities. Workshops covered such topics as new financial regulations and how to implement them. Workshop For Victims Of Cancer ASBURY PARK - The 17th annual Reach to Recovery Workshop statewide program will be held May 14 at the Berk-eley-Carteret Hotel here. Disabled Can Obtain Job Help COURT HOUSE - The Jersey Cape Diagnostic, Opportunity, and Training Center offers help for persons who find that a disability makes it difficult for them to work. The center, located in the Crest Haven Complex, provides vocational evaluation to determine the person's work interests and skills.
