I Weavers' Showing CAPE MAY - The Barrier Island Weavers, a Fibre Guild, will be showing Saturday in the Crafts at Tulip-Time in Congress Hall. The Fibre Guild is a group of artists working in weaving, knitting, quilting, basketry and other fiberI related crafts. The craft show is a highquality juried show Members of the Barrier Island Weavers will be showing many items such as sweaters, dresses, shawls, quilts aVid pillows The Guild has been showing locally for the past two years At the Guild's winter show, a tapestry depicting . the coastal Barrier Islands i was raffled off. ^ Y oungsters j Entertain | A"ARP UNit CAPE MAY - Several dance and vocal students from the Joanne Reagan Dance Studios of Cold Spring entertained at the April meeting of the American Association of Retired Persons at the Victorian Towers. The youngsters who entertained are from the "Apprentice". "Mini Company" and "Difference Company" performance troupes. They presented tap dance routines, a contemporary ballet, several vocal selections and novel song and dance routines by some of the primary aged students. The Reagan Studio has performed every spring for approximately 10 years for ' this senior citizen organization. Reagan commented that these performances help groom the youngsters into more polished and sometimes professional entertainers and artists. Golden Agers CAPE MAY - The Catholic Golden Age Club of Cape May will meet I p.m. Thursday. May 1, at the Dugout in the basement of the rectory of Our Lady I Star of the Sea Church, I Washington and Ocean ■ Streets. H
