. Schools Will Hold Spring Fair
J COURT HOUSE - The Cape May County Vocational School District's 11th annual spring fair will be held 9a.m. -2 p.m. Wednesday. May 14. in the recreation area and All Purpose Room of the Vo-Tech Center. The individual shops in the Career Center and VoTech Center have been J working over the past few months to prepare items for sale, demonstration and exhibit. The various student organizations — Flture Farmers of America, Health Occupation Students of America , and the Vocational Industrial Clubs, of America — will also have booths at the fair.
ONE OF the most popular features of the fair is the variety of food available. The Foods Occupation tlasses will provide lunch with a menu of hot roast beef sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and take-home items. The Bake Shop will have a variety of baked goods for sale. Other items for sale will
include: bedding plants and handcrafted work. The Beatfty Culture class will perform manicures and facials. The fair is open to die public and all county residents are invited to attend. In case of rain, the fair will be held inside the Vo-Tech Center. For further information, call 465-2161.
SJRT Gives Fugard Play SOMERS POINT - Athol Fugard's sensitive and powerful drama, "Master Harold ... And The Boys" is now in rehearsal for its opening Tuesday at South Jersey Regional Theatre, the region's only Equity professional theatre company, at the Gateway Playhouse here. Set in South Africa in the 1950's, "Master Harold ... And The Boys" centers on the relationship between a white schoolboy and a black man who works as a waiter in the boy's parents restaurant and who has been something of a father figure to the young boy. The play captured three Tony Awards during its New York run. including 1983 Best Play of the year.
