Just received a call from Hasel Maley saying that her 14-year-old Llewellyn Retriever, "Candy" is now on the mend and he's going to make it. "Candy" has been very sick and needless to say her mistress, has been suffering along with her. All good wishes. Candy. Happy, happy 40th wedding anniversary to Helene and John Stout of Cape May. Lots of good wishes to these specidl two. You'll be happy to hear this! Sideburns are back for ladies — only in a softer way. Wispy sideburns combed on your face and then of course, the long, long earrings. Don't confuse this with the sidebum splittes of long ago, this look is ' supposed to give an elegant appearance. Another thing, if you still want to keep your hair long, the word from Paris
is that you can have a chignon or rows of luxurious graduated braids and if you want to create a "romantic look" (this is what beauty experts are calling it), then hair pieces can make all the difference and they won't frizz or misbehave as real hair does. And, they're saying that hairpieces can even be straightened with a hand steamer or curled using a curling iron set on cool. Never wring out hairpieces or wigs when washing, just shampoo, swish around, shake out gently and hang over a doorknob to dry. You can tease, use mousse, gels and setting lotion too. Whatever, the finished look is supposed to be "exciting." I'm all set to give it a try.
