^ Seminar | On Toxic Waste COURT HOUSE - The Cape May Court House Neighborhood Association, in conjunction with the American Association of University Women, is presenting the second seminar in a series on toxic waste 7 p.m. Friday, May 16, at the Methodist Church Hall, Route 9 and Church Street. It is free and open to the public. Two of the featured speakers, Henderson W. Pritchard and John Higley, biologist and engineer, respectively, will discuss the available technological solutions to toxic waste. Pritchard is a longtime summer resident of Cape May. Higley is a senior design and application engineer and has participated in the development and introduction of detection, monitoring and scavenger recovery systems. Both speakers will give the public a simple explanation of the technology available and the problem-, solving techniques concerning pollutants released into the soil and groundwater.
