Film Series On Family

COURT HOUSE - The Church of Christ is presenting the Dr. James Dobson Films, "Focus on the Family", throughout May and June 6:30 Sunday nights. Film titles include: "The Strong Willed Child", "Shaping the Will Without Breaking the Spirit", "Fathering", "Preparing For Adolescence", and "What Wives Wish Their Husbands Knew About Women". All these films will be shown on video with discussion groups scheduled throughout the following week. At Trinity Lutheran WILDWOOD - Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Atlantic and Poplar Avenues, will hold a special celebration this Sunday. "Youth Sunday" will begin with the Sunday Church School program 9 a.m. The 10:15 a.m. worship service will be led by the youth of Holy Trinity. Holy Eucharist will be celebrated with Pastor Gary Mann serving as celebrant. A time of fellowship follows immediately after the service. 'The Bride To Be Title' STONE HARBOR - "The Bride" is the title of - Pastor Glenn Schoenberger's sermon on Sunday, the Seventh Sunday of Easter, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Mothers will be recognized during the course of the worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday Church School and the Adult Forum are at 9:30 a.m. "Revelation" continues to be the topic of study Thursdays at 1 p.m. Our Saviour congregation is a supporting church of the Lutheran Hour on WSJL <102.3 FM) Sundays at 2:30 p.m.

Everybody is welcome to attend one or all of the presentations Sunday nights through June 15. 'Tale of 2 Mothers ' COLD SPRING - The Rev. Fred L. Rhody's sermon topic for Sunday at the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church will be "A Tale of Two Mothers". Selected verses from Judges, Chapters 4 and 5, will constitute the Scripture Lesson. The Women's Association of the church invites all women to attend a dinner meeting 6:30 p.m. May 8 in Price Hall. The Rev. James Phillips of the staff of the Overseas Mission Study Center will be the guest speaker.
