Antique Custom Cars Set y WILDWOOD - The city will host a custom antique car show on its boardwalk. | Saturday, May 17. with j custom cars up to and including 1960 on display at J Schellenger Avenue (going j south) until 2 p.m. in the afternoon. The vintage vehicles will parade through the Wildwoods, along the ocean avenues. They will also appear at the i city's Chocolate Festival May 18. This is the first custom car show the city has held. A custom car is an antique car that has been modified, or customized. For example, the engine may be i altered or the paint may be [ different from the car's original production colors. According to Mayor Vic Di Sylvester. "This event is designated as a Getaway Weekend for the antique car participants. They in turn, bring family entertainment to our j community." Individuals and car clubs are invited to enter the show. For more information. call the Wildwood j Deprtment of Tourism, 522-1407. Sr. Student In Recital RIO GRANDE — Paula Gorman, granddaughter of Blanche and Wesley Smith : of this community, presented a- recital of 15 arias in German.
