| Chamber's 30th Year
BEESLEY'S POI^T - A gala 30th anniversary dinner was held by the Upper Township Chamber of Commerce at the Tuckahoe Inn here recently. Hobart Sapp. a charter member, was the honorary chairman and master of ceremonies.
A gavel was presented by Mitzi Oelling in memory of Stephen Oelling. a past president. Rudy Chiorrazo was the recipient of "Businessman of the Year" honors, the wall plaque being presented by Robert Jeffers, retiring president. Chiorazzo is owner of South Shore Ford, and developer of the new South Shore Plaza in Marmora. ROBERT PATTERSON, executive director of the county Chamber of Commerce, was the installing officer. Harry Harvey heads the local chamber as president. Other officers are Carlo Melini. vice president, Mary Dempsey, secretary, and Mitzi Oelling, continuing as treasurer, a post she has held for several years. Past presidents serving as trustees are: Hobart Sapp, Herbert Godfrey, Pat Cossaboone, Steve' Dechen and Robert Jeffers. Richard Guiliano, county chamber president, presented a plaque in recognition of the 30th anniversary of the local chamber.
Course Set ■For Food Managers COURT HOUSE - The Cape May County Health Department will conduct a Food Service Manager's Training Course 1 p.m. May 21 and 22 at the third floor meeting room of the Public Health Center in the Crest Haven Complex. The course will run two-and-a-half hours each day. This is the ninth year for the course, which is open to all food establishment owners, managers or their designated representative. This course is intended to educate food service owners and managers in proper food handling practices. Those who attend both sessions and complete the course will be awarded certificates. Advance registration isx' required, by calling 465-3181, Extension 221, before Monday, May 19. This will be the only course presented this spring.
Jamison Library Director COURT HOUSE - Charles A. Jamison, son of Charles W. Jamison. R.D. 2, has been appointed director of the Myrin Library at Ursinus College, Coilegeville, Pa., College President Richard P. Richter has announced. Jamison graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1972, graduated with college honors from Richard Stockton State College in 1978, received a Master's degree from Drexel University in 1980 and has been a member of the Ursinus College faculty since 1981. POSITIONS that Jamison has held at the Ursinus College Library have included catalog librarian, head of the technical services department, and acting library director He is a member of the American Library Association, the Association of College and Research Libraries, the Pennsylvania Library Association and the Tri-State College Library Cooperative Board of Directors.
