Here's Dolly f^r By Dolly Stango
She's free to a good home! A little, tiny, calico kitten which was found by the roadside after being abandoned in a box along with her mother. The mother has since run away, but the tiny calico baby is in need of a home.. She comes complete with a litter box, et al. and neutering expense will be paid by Allan, the good gent who found "Callie" name for her). I'd take her myself, but my Peke wouldn't be a good reception committee, and Allan has two very large cats who now have complete management of his home and , would not ) necessarily want to mixr with the "young folk". So right now. Callie is being kept where the "bosses" can't get to her. If interested, call Allan at 884-8341 after 5 p.m. and during the day call 884-8230. "Callie" is so beautiful you won't be able to leave her once you've seen those eyes. Young Franny Pessagno, a student at Star of the Sea in Cape May, took part in the March of Dimes Walkathon - going from North Wildwood, to Wildwood Crest (two times) a total of 18 miles, raising $250. Just thinking about all that walking tired me out — but Franny deserves to have us be proud of him — his concern for others is just great. MANY ARE already interested in learning about the class being sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts whereby you can whip up a whole quilt in just one day. Class is Saturday. May 24, at the Cape Island Baptist Church, Columbia and Gudrney Streets, Cape May. This is a limited class and reservations must be called in to Karen Andrus, chairperson, at 884-4226 or to the center at 884-5404. THE CELEBRATION for Sister Paul Mary's 50th year as a sister of the Saint Joseph order was a memorable one. All Wildwood Catholic High School students attended the beautiful Mass in the school auditorium, where I played the piano and accompanied Father Robert Pasley. (associate pastor of Star of the Sea in Cape May. who sang many beautiful selections. Following the Mass a reception was held in the school library and Sister Paul Mary had time to greet friends and relatives. After 37 years of teaching at Wildwood Catholic, Sister now has assumed a full-time position in the Disciplinary Office. DURING HER teaching career at Wildwood Catholic, Sister Paul Mary taught every student, as she was the only biology teacher there. Still very active, Sister plays tennis, swims and goes bike riding, too. Attending were Msgr. Maclnytre. superintendent of schools; Msgr. William Quinn, pastor, St. Ann's Wildwood; Fr. William Ryan and Fr. Michael P. Orsi, religion and student counselor at Wildwood Catholic. t *
