Wetlands Classes Now open

STONE HARBOR - The Wetlands Institute's 1986 summer mini-ecology courses for school-aged children are now open for registration by nonmembers of the Institute. The summer schedule includes classes for children grades preschool through Flea Mart, Auto Show SEA ISLE CITY - The Annual "Oceanfront" Flea Market and 19^6 Auto Show will be held on the Promenade 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday. June 21. This annual event attracts upwards of 10,000 persons. The flea market is sponsored by the city and the Sea Isle City Historical Society.

Eighth Grade on the following dates: Preschool (age 4 by July 1) July 7-11. July 2 1-25. Aug. 4-8. Kindergarten (completed) July 14-18, July 28- Aug. l ; preschool and kindergarten: 9:30-11 a.m. or 12:30-2 p.m. Grades 1-2 (completed) July 7-11, July 28- Aug. 1. Boardwalk 'Chain' To Benefit Hungry

OCEAN CITY - A number of Ocean City humanitarian organizations. headed by the Gardens Civic Association, are joining to sponsor a fund-raising ' Hands Along the Boftfdwalk" to benefit the hungry in Ocean City. A take-off of the "Hands Across America", the local chain of human hands will stretch from one end of the boardwalk to the other beginning 2 p.m. Memorial Day. May 26, for two and a half miles. To join the chain, each potential participant must donate $5 and sign up with a participating organization. The entire amount raised will be given to two local charities.

THE FOLLOWING organizations have information and sign-up sheets for anyone who wishes to get involved: Ocean City Art Center. Guest and Apartment Association. Chamber of Commerce. Hotel/Motel Assoc., Sandpaper. Humane Society of Ocean City. City Hall Railroad. Exchange Club, WSLT, and Sentinel Ledger St. Augustine's and the Ocean City PTA will locate children to stand in line for contributors who do not want to stand on the boardwalk but would like to help a worthy cause.
