Classic Video Still Goes Undefeated
CAPE MAY — Classic Video remains undefeated in Men's Softball A-League after defeating the U.S.C.G. Bears 14-13 and The Press 14-9. Laws' Printing moved up to second after winning
three games this past week. They defeated Carlos O'Brien's 18-2, Cape Radiology 14-8 and Burke Builders 7-2. Carl Umsheid led Laws' in the Burke Builders game with two hits, including a
3- run homer, and knocked in 4 runs. John Fuller had two hits and two rbi's. BUI Cook, Kevin Sherman, Ernie Troiano and Ted Ferrante also had two hits for Laws'. IN OTHER games, Carlos O'Brien's defeated the Coast Guard Bears 14-5, Burke - Builders beat TMU 16-1, Bal Harbour defeated Carlos O'Brien's and Kindle Ford beat the Bears 745. In B-League action. The Press moved into second place by defeating the Cape Mgy Coasties 11-8 and StumpPs Pizza 17-16. In their victory over the Coasties. Steve Luteri and Stan Cubernot each had three hits, with Dean Shenwalb reaching base safely four times. Luteri had a grand slam in the win over Stompo's Pizza. Bob Foltz and Ken Laricks each went 4-5. THE CAPE MAY Coasties defeated Cape Radiology 9-4 as Pat Brennan and Mike Glancy both went 3-4 with 2
rbi's. Kindle Ford remains undefeated after a victory over Reuter Construction and a 15-14 win over EECEN. Eckel's Diesel is in a tie for second place after an 18-9 victory over National Associates and a 16-1 win over Bal Harbour. In other B-League games, Stumpo's Pizza defeated EECEN 17-7, Bal Harbour over Cape Radiology 10-1 and TMU over Reuter Construction 16-1.
