LCMR Team Wins In Fitness
ERMA — Competing in an area Marine Physical Fitness Test at the Philadelphia Naval Base May 1, Lower Cape MayRegional High School Girls' and Boys' fitness teams excelled by placing first and nineth respectively. Twenty-eight girls teams and 38 boys teams competed from schools throughout the greater Delaware Valley. The tests included situps. pushups, standing long jump, pullups for boys and flexed arm hang for girls and the 300-yard run. The girls' team consisted of Heather Dillon. Michelle Snedaker. Jesse Snyder. Megan Stanton, Petra DeMusz and Andrea Anderson. The team scored 2486 points out of a possible 2500. outscoring the other 27 teams entered. Last year's team placed fourth of 20 teams. THE BOYS' TEAM consisted of Rich Demers, Joe Bresan, Craig Oreo. Mike Hudgins, Fred Olsen and Ron Nelson. The team scored 1886 points in its nineth place finish. Last year's team placed 17th of 30.
Individual honors were awarded to the following: Heather Dillon - first place overall outstanding female athlete and Michelle Snedaker - second place overall outstanding female i athlete. J
Other awards included the following: first place girls girls' flexed arm hang - Jesse Snyder. This is the second consecutive year that Heather Dillon won the award for the oustanding female athlete.
