Dinner Is Scouts' Benefit DIAMOND BEACH - Over 140 people gathered to support Boy Scouts of America programs May 7 at the Grand Hotel here at the third annual Boypower Dinner. This year's dinner was sponsored by Frank McCall, mayor of Wildwood Crest, and Harry Gilbert, councilman of Cape May City. Featured speaker was professor and sailor, Marvin Creamer of Pitman, known for his 'round the world adventure aboard his 37-foot ketch, without the aid of navigational instruments. THE U.S. COAST Guard Training Center band provided the pre-dinner music, and presented the colors. {^residing over the affqjr was Eagle Scout Capt. Jon C. Uithol, commanding officer of the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May. Jim Alexis, long time scouter and chairman of the Boypower Diner for the second year in a row, was pleased by the record turnout. Plant Sale Set , SEA ISLE CITY - The ) annual Sea Isle City ) Hydrangea Sale will be held | this Saturday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m., at the Community Center on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Plants are $2.35 each Students Have Museum Tour WILDWOOD - The Fourth Grade students of St. Ann Regional School had a social studies field trip May 6. a visit to the Cape May County Historical Museum. Mr. A. Salerno was instrumental in Richard Adelizzi's granting the use of his trolley, "Emily". An educational tour of the museum was given by guides. After the tour, "Emily" took the fourth graders to the County Park for lunch. The day ended with a tour \ of the Court House led by * Stanley Elliott. After the outing, "Emi- * ly" took the students back J to school.
