CAPE MAY - Saturday evening, a Cottages at Twilight Tour will open four of charming restored Victorian homes in the city to the public. Sponsored by the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts (MAC), this tour of the interiors of vintage homes, each representing a different form of architecture and planning, offers a rare and intimate insight into Victorian lifestyles. The houses on the Cottages at Twilight Tour will open 8 to 10 p.m. Tickets for this tour may be purchased the evening of the tour only at the Dr. Henry L. Hunt House, 209 Congress PI. (Starting at 7:45 p.m.). HOUSES ON the cottages at Twilight Tour include: The Dr. Henry L. Hunt House (209) Congress PI), was built in 1881. It is one of the more eclectic Victorian creations in town, contain-
ing elements from most of the styles popular in the 1870s and '80s. The Joseph Hall Cottage (645 Hughes St.) c. 1868. Features antique furniture, predominantly family pieces, including Civil War memorabilia. Beautiful patterns in tiles and stained glass are repeated throughout the interior. THE WHITE DOVE Cottage (664 Hughes St.) c 1883. Features walnut and cherry woodwork, marble mantels, Victorian sunporch, family and European antiques. Decorated with sculpture and paintings done by the owners and an outstanding antique doll collection. WINDWARD HOUSE (24 Jackson St.) Built in the Edwardian period, this shingle style house features oak paneling, massive doors, and some of Care May's finest stained ana beveled leaded glass.
