Cold Spring Village Opens COLD SPRING - Music will Fill the air as Historic Cold Spring Village opens its gates for another season on Saturday. This Music Festival Weekend begins on Saturday with the Lucky Lindys dance band performing at 12:30 and 2 p.m. On Sunday, the Hal Davis Orchestra comes to the Village for two performances at 12:30 and 2 p.m. The weekend is concluded Monday with a visit from the Hoffnagle Band, another area favorite. Hailing from wildwood, this family quartet will be performing from 12-4.

May 26. in front of the Music Pier. TO JOIN the chain, each participant must donate $5 and sign up with a participating organization. The entire amount raised will be given to two local charities. St. Augustine's and the Ocean City PTA will locate children to stand in line for contributors who don't want to stand on the boardwalk but would like to help a worthy cause, Harris said. 'Eastern Shore' Pageant OCEAN CITY - A new Miss America Scholarship Pageant, "Miss Eastern Shore", will be held at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace, 7 p.m. Thursday May 29. The pageant is designed to give contestants who have appeared in previous preliminary pageants a second chance to compete for Miss New Jersey. Laurie Kohr, former Miss New Jersey, will produce and emcee the event. "IT IS OPEN to those who have competed in former Miss America preliminaries only," noted Kohr. "It will give many talented individuals a second opportunity to win the state title," she said. The pageant is sponsored by Connoisseur Ltd. of Ocean City in cooperation with the city.
