June 9 Tipoff Set By Wildwood Aces

WILDWOOD - The Wildwood Aces of the United States .jj^ketball League have released their playing schedule for the upcoming season. The Aces will begin their second year of league play when they travel to Tampa Monday, June 9, to participate in the first USBL game of the season and the first ever to be held in Florida. After a rematch with the Tampa Bay Flash June 11, the Aces conclude their southern swing June 12 against the Gold Coast Stingrays in West Palm Beach. The Aces will make a second trip to Florida the last week of July. THE HOME OPENER is set" for Sunday, June 22, when the Aces host the Stringrays. Altogether, the Aces will play 15 home games at Wildwood Convention Hall and one at a

CAPE MAY - In Coed Recreation Volleyball, Rio Grande Building Materials remains in first place after taking three of four games from Buck's Electric 15-11, 13-15, 15-3 and 15-11. Cape May Mobile Estates stayed in second place by sweeping Pete's Cape May SCUBA Class CAPE MAY - A nationally certified SCUBA course will again be offered by the city in its 1986 summer recreation schedule. The class will consist of 32 hours of instruction plus two final dives and will provide an introduction to equipment use and the ocean environment. Upon successful completion students will each receive a certificate and a card verifying a passing effort.
