; Wells Memorial ! Starts 94th Year

AVALON - Wells Memorial Presbyterian Church, Ninth and First Avenue, will open its 94th year 10 a.m. Sunday, and will hold weekly worship services through Sept. 28. Preacher at the first service will be Rev. Gordon E. Boak, D.D , pastor emeritus, Glenshaw Presbyterian Church, Glenshaw, Pa. The schedule of preachers for the summer follows: The Church Of Christ COURT HOUSE - The Church of Christ is presenting the Dr. James Dobson Films "Focus on the Family", Sunday nights at 6:30 throughout May and June. The films will be shown on video with discussion groups scheduled throughout the following week. Everybody is welcome to attend one or all of the presentations Sunday nights May 3 - June 15. Other services for the church are: Sunday Bible Class 9 a.m. Sunday Worship 10 a.m., and Wednesday Bible Class 7 p.m. A ladies class is studying "Self-Esteem" 1 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month. Friends Get Washington Briefings SEAVILLE - Two delegates from the Seaville Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends took part in a visit to Washington, D.C., last weekend focusing on United States-Soviet relations. The are William Geary and Patricia Blessington, the latter of Ocean City. The delegation gathered at the Woodbine Friends Meeting House for worship before going to Washington, where members attended briefings with the State Deprtment. Friends Committee on National Legislation, and the Center for Defense Informtion. The group also had a dinner meeting with officials of the Soviet Embassy.
