Wetlands Features Raptors

STONE HARBOR - Raptors. birds of prey which include owls, hawks, and eagles, will be featured at the second annual Spring Fling Saturday. June 7 at the Wetlands Institute. Bill and Stephanie Streeter. of the Natural Science Raptor Center. Milford. PA. will share their knowledge of the complex and fascinating lives of the native birds of prey during an afternoon and evening lecture in the Marshview Lecture Hall of the Institute. ACCOMPANYING the Streeters will be several live raptors, including a redtailed hawk, goshawk, kestrel, barred owl, and golden eagle. During their one hour programs, the Streeters will discuss predator-prey relationships, raptor identification and behavior, raptor

ecology and conservation, and rehabilitation. Stephanie Streeter is the director the Natural Science Raptor Center, where she works with her husband Bill rehabilitating and releasing back to the wild injured, ill, and orphaned birds of prey.
