' Army Band i Scheduled In Avalon AVALON — New Jersey's i 19th Army Band will perform in an open air concert July 5 on the boardwalk in | Avalon. The Avalon Performing Arts Committee will be assisted by representatives of all the service organizations in Avalon in planning the event. The American Legion Post in Stone Harbor will also be involved. The band's 40 soldiermusicians will spend the day in Avalon and then perform from the boardwalk. DURING THE last few years the 19th Army Band has performed at many prestigious events including ceremonies attended by U.S. Presidents Reagan, Carter and Ford and many foreign dignataries.
