JI NK IS A GREAT MONTH to celebrate . weddings. graduations, and especially summertime. With summer unfolding at every turn, there are plenty of good reasons to stay outdoors until the last moments of daylight. For the next several weeks we will be enjoying the longest hours of daylight for the year. These long days nourish our souls: beach lovers enjoy working on their tans during the lazy, hazy days of summer. Be advised though that too much sun is no fun, * * * ED ZABERER'S. What else can compare? The original one and only Zaberer's in North Wildwood is one of the best known restaurants in the area and for very good reasons. ' Aside from the fact that it is a huge dining establishment, it serves excellent food in an Atmosphere that is unbelievable. Filled with antiques and a fabulous collection of Tiffany lamps, Zaberer's has j)een serving delicious meals for generations. In fact they are now celebrating their 75th year in business. - Prices are surprisingly affordable for such an atmosphere; service is unbeatable. We've always enjoyed those "Zaberized" cocktails. AVALON SEAFOOD MARKET. Remember those old-fashioned clambakes on the beach? Well, we do. That's why we often visit Avalon Seafood Market at 29th Street and Ocean Drive in Avalon. Their clambake can make a romantic feast for two. With lobster, flounder, shrimp, clams, scallops, coleslaw, clam chowder and the beverage of our choice, we only need provide the candlelight to enjoy a wonderful evening. Cape May's Hirsch Family has a wonderful setting for fine dining in The Promenade, located at Beach and Madison Avenues nearby the Montreal Inn. Brunch, dinner and spirits are served in a delightful greenhouse atmosphere. While the season changes. The Promenade's windows are the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal, across from the Atlantic Ocean. Hospitality abounds as it always has, but now in a refreshing different atmosphere. * * •
JONATHAN'S HARBOR. Located at 214- 96th Street, Stone Harbor Jonathan's Harbor features the best of the seashore. Everything is homemade and every ingredient is fresh. The scrumptious homemade desserts include Key Lime pie, seasonal fruit pies, and other assorted goodies. You can buy I I just a piece — or the whole pie for take- I J home eating.
