Wetlands Changes To Summer Hours
STONE HARBOR - The Wetlands Institute yester day began its summer schedule, Tuesdays through Saturdays. 10-4:30. The Institute, loqgigfi three miles east of Garden State Parkway Exit 10. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to research and education programs dealing with the coastal environment. Situated on 34 acres of salt water wetlands, the Institute houses a small museum with aquaria, displays of local flora and fauna, and the newly completed Raptor Exhibit. THE MARSH VIEW lecture hall has two glass walls that look out over the surrounding marsh, and displays of wildlife art on the other walls. The observation tower givfs a bird's eye view of the area, while the Tidepool Shop offers a selection of nature books and seashore gifts. A self-guided nature trail takes visitors out on the marsh; and beginning July 1. guided marsh walks will be offered daily at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30.
ADMISSION IS free to members, and a 41 donation is requested from nonmembers. Membership information is available upon request. A nominal fee will be requested for guided marsh walks. For information on all Institute programs and activities, call 368-1211. The institute will be closed all day Wednesday, June 11, for renovations, but will reopen Thursday, June 12.

Old House Tour Slated June 27-29 CAPE MAY - The County Art League will hold its 38th Annual Old House Tour, featuring outstanding examples of Victorian architecture, over a threeday period beginning Friday, June 27, and ending Sunday evening, June 29. To kick off the tour, the league will host a reception and presentation at the league's Carriage House Gallery 8 p.m. Friday. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited. SATURDAY. .10 a m -4 p.n v ' selected homes in Caf>e May and Cape May Point will be open for the benefit of those taking the tour. Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., other selected homes will be open.
