ACC Goes On Four-Day Schedule
MAYS LANDING - Atlantic Community College will operate on a fourday work week for 12 weeks this summer. The college will be open now through Aug. 22. The schedule is part of the college's continuing energy conservation efforts. The Mays Landing campus and the Cape May County Externum Center office in Rio Grande will be open 8 a.m. to 4:37 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Administrators will work 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Counselors and librarians will work 8 a.m. to 5:07
p.m., and plant employes * will work 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
THE ACADEMY of Culinary Arts office will be open 8 a.m. to 4:37 p.m. Monday through Thursday. ACA, students are off for the summer, with classes resuming in September. Careme's will be getting a facelift and will be closed for the summer, with reopening scheduled for September. Casino Career Institute offices will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ACC's City Center, including the GED Testing Office, JTPA Office, Small Business Development Center and the Business and Human Resources Center, 1535 Bacharach Blvd., will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:37 p.m.

Engineering Graduate COURT HOUSE - Brenda L. Yocum. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Yocum of this community, was graduated cum laude from Duke Univeristy in May with a bachelor's degree in engineering. In the fall Yocum will be entering the master's degree program in biomedical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester. Mass. where she was awarded a < Robert H . Goddard Graduate Fellowship. She is a 1982 graduate of Middle Township High School. Marmora Road Grant $100,000 -'MILLVILLE - Stale Sen. James R. Hurley, RCape May-Cumberland, announced recently that the N.J. Department of Transportation has granted SJ00.000 to Cape May County for a project designed to extend Roosevelt Boulevard in Marmora from Route 9 to Old Tuckahoe Road. "This $100,000 will be used for certain intersection work which must be done on the project," Hurley said. "The county will use another $300,000 in state transportation trust funds to complete the project. " HURLEY POINTED out that once the project is completed, a major traffic bottleneck will be alleviated. "This will allow a much smoother flow of traffic and alleviate some of the congestion at the intersection of Tuckahoe Road and Route 9," Hurley said. "This should come as a relief to residents of that area." According to County Engineer Neil Clark, the county will begin work on the project in 1987
