CAPE MAY - Cape May County's oldest natural history club, the Cape May Geographic Society, is ready for the 1986 season with a program of eight Friday evening slide shows and four Saturday morning (or evening. ..Star Gazing) walks. Covered will be such topics as HaUey's Comet, Shorebirds and Horseshoe Crabs along the Delaware Bay, Coastal Indians, Butterflies of Cape May County, Western Raptors, Cape-May's Owl Migration, ^ The Nature Conservancy's <■ involvement in Cape May ^ County, and much more, rjs This year's program has v been extended into the fall and includes a mid-winter ^ walk to chase away the winter doldrums, p THE SLIDE shows are held 8 p.m. Fridays at the West Cape May Municipal Building, behind the Fire Hall, on Broadway. Crowning Of Queen Maysea CAPE MAY - Historic City's 54th Annual Corona- , tion of Queen Maysea will ' be held 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 in Cape May Convention Hall. At this gala event the 1986 Cape May Baby Parade Queen will be crowned. The queen will be honored in the annual baby parade Friday, Aug. 8. Applica tions are available in Convention Hall to year-round Greater Cape May area residents between 6 and 10 years old. For additional information call the Department of Civic Affairs. 884-8411. ext. 20 or 27. Dancing Classes CAPE MAY - The city will offer dance classes at part of the summer recreation schedule. These classes will take place at the Elementary School every Monday morning beginning on June 23, under the direction of Viva Mangold. A pre-school dance class for ages 3-5 wiU take plae» 9-10 a.m. A tap/jazz combination class takes place 10-11 a.m. The final hour, 11 a.m. -noon, will have a ballet/acrobatic combination class.
