SIC Host To Track Program SEA ISLE CITY - The 21st Annual Arco Jesse J Owens Games, a national program of track and field competition for boys and girls 7 to 14. will be held here Saturday at Dealy Field, 59th and Central Avenues, starting at 9 a.m. The annual contest is sponsored by the Sea Isle City Recreation Department, and offers youngsters an opportunity to participate in both track and field events for trophie. Builders Leading Softball League

CAPE MAY - In city Men's Softball Burke Builders remain on top of the A-League after defeating the Coast Guard Bears 3-1, National Associates 14-13 and Classic Video 6-5. Laws' Printing remains in second place after defeating Kindle Ford 254) and the Coast Guard Bears 28-16. Ted Ferrante pitched a 2-hit shutout over Kindle. He got offensive support from Ernie Troiano's five hits and four hit games from John Fuller and Carl Umscheid. FULLER USED his four hits to drive in 5 runs. Kevin Sherman had 7 rbi's on 3 hits including a ho me run. Mike Moore also chipped in with 3 hits. In their win over the Bears, Fuller and Umscheid had 5 hits apiece with Sherman supplying 4 hits including a homerun, and Troiano having 4 hits including 3 doubles. Brendan Rosenberg also had 3 hits including a homerun. In other games involving A-League teams, Carlos O'Brien's had a successful week as they defeated Classic Video 7-2 and the EECEN Gumbys by a score of 16-1. THE COAST Guard Bears defeated Eckel's Diesel 96 and Classic Video beat Stumpo's Pizza 21-6 behind Bill Hinkel's 5 rbi's and Mark Trukaley's 3 hits as Classic Video collected 25 hits. Eckel's Diesel and Kindle Ford remain tied for the top spot in the B-League after Kindle defeated TMU 9-8 and Cape may Coasties 5-2 while Eckel's defeated Stumpo's Pizza 4-3. The Cape May Coasties defeated the EECEN team 11-4 and National Associates 12-6 as Bob Vaughan, Pat Brennan and Rick Reddinger each had 2 hits in the National Associates game. CAPE RADIOLOGY defeated The Press 28-15 as Craig Cooper had 8 rbi's and Skeeter Hughes had 5 hits including a homerun. Wayne Plocher and Terry Cerullo bad 5 and 4 rbi's respectively. The Press bounced back to defeat Bal Harbour 21-6 as Steve Luteri had 4 hits and 5 rbi's. Rob Burner andd Bryan Weyand each had 3 hits and 3 runs scored. In other B-League games.

I Run Set July 26 AVALON - The borough I recreation department will I conduct a five-mile run I Saturday. July 26. starting I at 8 a.m. There will also be I a one-mile fun run.
