JONATHAN LUTZ Lutz Gets B.A. Degree SEAVILLE — Jonathan H. Lutz. son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lutz of this community, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Grove City College at commencement exercises recently. Lutz, a 1982 graduate of Ocean City High School, was on the Dean's List for the * final marking period at Grove City. Lutz was a member of Sigma Phi Omicron. Fanny C. Collo, 84, of Goshen, June 8. Bom in Steelamantown, she lived in Woodbine before moving here seven years ago. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Woodbine, Goshen Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary and Tuckahoe United Methodist Church. Ethel Finnaman, 80, of Philadelphia, June 7. She was a former resident of Cape May. Caroline A. Fritz, 91, of North Wildwood, June 12. A resident here since 1924, she and her late husband, William, operated a general store here for many years. She was a member of a variety of civic and church groups, including St. Ann's Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality, Catholic Daughters of America, Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Ladies' Republican Club and the Ladies' Auxiliary of Fire Co. No. 1 here. Gustino Giandomenico, 91, of North Wildwood, June 13. Bom in Italy, he emigrated to the United States when he was 17 years old. He moved here from Philadelphia five years ago. Joseph R. Hannah, 50, of . Ocean City, June 11. Bom ' in Atlantic City, he was a lifelong area resident and a self-employed brick mason. He was a member of the Pride of Ocean City Elks Club No 757. Thomas Hickman Jr.. 68, of West Cape May, June 13. Bom in Millville. he was a longterm resident here, a retired fisherman and shucker for Snow Canning, Cold Spring. Sadie M. Houston. 79, of Erma, June 9. Bom in Italy, she was a resident here for many years and a member of the Young at Heart Association of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Margaret S. Kravitz, 66, of Palermo, June 14. Bom in Philadelphia, he lived in Ocean City before moving here four years ago. He was a former automobile mechanic and Ocean City Democratic committeeman. Harry I. Lawrence, 74, of Rio Grande, June 11. Bom in Philadelphia, he was a Camden resident before moving here in 1949. He was a member of Villas Fishing Club, the Golden Age Club of Villas, the Villas Civic Club and Miilman Seniors. Francis C. Martell, 69, of Cape May, June 11. Bom in Philadelphia, he was a local resident for six years and belonged to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and Council 6202, Cape May Knights of Columbus. He was an Air Corps veteran of World War II and a retired driver for the Philadelphia Department of Labor. Ray T. Mentzer Sr.. 78, of Ocean City, June 10. A registered nurse, she was bom in Philadelphia and moved here 15 years ago. Richard W. Merrick, 81. of Court House. June 11. Bom in Gloucester County, he lived here 17 years. He was a retired consulting engineer and member of the Arbutus Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, and the Lulu Temple of Philadelphia.

George Meyers. 84, of Reeds Beach, June 8. Bom in Philadelphia, he lived here for two decades. He was a retired selfemployed contractor for hauling gravel and asphalt. Clara O. Morris, 90. of Ocean City, June 13. A local resident for the past 52 years, she was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church and Chapter 83 of the Order of Eastern Star here. Anthony J. Piperao. 68, of Sea Isle City, June 12. He was the owner of Pip's Place on Landis Avenue since 1969, when he sold the Superior Banking Co. of Germantown, Pa., and moved here. Salvatore Scoleri. 74, of Villas, June 12. Formerly of Hammonton, he lived here 18 years. He was a retired carpenter and builder most recently employed at a Cape May marina. William C. Sheppard, 78, of Villas, June 13. Bom in Philadelphia, he lived there before moving to Villas seven years ago. He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. Rose Marie Stravinsky. 64, of Erma, June 9. Bom in Chester, Pa., she was a former nurses' aide at the South Cape Nursing Home in Court House and 10-year county resident.

B MICHELLE GOODROE Governor's Student NORTH CAPE MAY - Michelle Goodroe of 204 Roseanne Ave. has been selected to attend the fourth annual session of the Governor's School at Monmouth College beginning June 28. Goodroe, a student at Lower Cape May Regional High School, is on the staff of the school's literary magazine and the yearbook. She also plays in both the concert and marching bands. She serves as a volunteer with the county Animal Welfare Society, and is active in the youth group of her church. One hundred incoming high school seniors take part in the four-week residential program aimed at fostering civic concern and scholarship.
