Museum On Summer Schedule

COURT HOUSE - The Cape May County Historical Society this Monday began its summer schedule. Monday through Saturdays. 10-4 with the last tour given at 3 p.m The tour of the John Holmes House and the barn takes approximately one hour. The museum is on route 9 one mile north of Burdette Tomlin Hospital.

The museum teatures exhibits for people of all ages An 18th Century kitchen and bedroom illustrate early life in the county. THE DINING room is furnished with pieces predating 1820. In the Victorian room, artifacts from that period are explained The bam houses early whaling instruments as well as Indian

artifacts, the Cape May Point Lighthouse lens and maritime collection Groups of 15 or more per sons must call the office for special rates and to arrange tours, at least one week in advance. The Historical Society welcomes new members and volunteers For infor mation call 465-3535.
