They're doing it again! The Gems of Cape May County (an organization of dedicated women) have set Sunday, July 6 at 3 p.m. for the extravaganza performance by The Entertainers (Rockaway and Company, Inc. of Jamaica, N.Y.),. This is a group of 40 seniors ranging in age from 65 to 85 — dancing, singing and entertaining. They even come down from the stage and dance with the audience — it's a yearly event all want to be sure to attend. Convention Hall is the place and donation. CONGRATULATIONS: I To Margaret and John I Sutcliffe, who will be mar- I ried 64 years on June 21. I This happy couple make I their home in Victorian I Towers. GET WELL WISHES to Joseph Mikusa of Village Greene. Joe's at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia after open heart surgery. All good wishes for speedy recovery to Marie Momat, at Burdette Hospital after a fall as her wheelchair slipped on a knoll. Lots more still on sick list: Caje Hoist, John McColgan, Vera Johnson, Grace O'Gara, Angela Glaser, Catharyn McMahon, Regina Hennigh, Betty Cioskey, and Richard Herbst. All good wishes to them all. THERE'S STILL time - if you want to get space to sell your wares, etc., at the Victorian Fair sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts. There are going to be lots of other booths selling books, collectibles, prints, food, etc., games of chance and skill for the whole family. For reservations, call the MAC office, 884-5404. Otherwise, admission to the fair is free and it's Saturday, June 21, on the grounds of the Physick Estate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain date is June 22. Monthly meeting of the Cape May Woman's Republican Club will be noon Monday, June 23, at the Gold Whale Restaurant (Marquis deLafayette) in Cape May. Note of thanks comes from Mrs. Mena Thomas, secretary of the Christ Child Society, thanking all who donated clothes for the many needy children. • • • WEDDING TO top all weddings was the very beautiful one at the Chalfonte Hotel celebrating Dot Burton's daughter, Tina. It was a garden ceremony with Rev. Robert Davis officiating and the very many beautiful gowns made it a picture to behold. The bride, needless to say, was radiant in her handmade white lace gown ( mother. Dot, had the same lace), which made it all so very eye-catching. Of course, the food was Cbalfonte-delicious and the

music — well for the young ones, to be sure! It's a wonderful thing — the "caring and sharing" being done by Volunteers of Star of the Sea Church in Cape May. This group helps all parishioners needing a ride to Mass, food shopping, home visitation or even telephone

reassurance. That's kindness by the group-load. IN MEMORIAM: Francis Martell of Victorian Towers — a friend to ever so many and always with a tip of his hat, a wave and wide smile. "Frank" will indeed be missed by all who knew him over the years.
