Promenade Art Show

CAPE MAY - The 22nd | Annual Historic Cape May Promenade Art Show will be conducted 10 a.m. - 5 I p.m. July 11. 12 and 13, with artists permitted to exhibit after official hours.

The show will consist of three divisions: professional. amateur and youth. There will be five judging categories: oil/acrylic, watercolors. graphics, sculpture and photgraphy. THE GENERAL chairman is Mrs. Mary Joyce, who has 16 years experience in that capacity. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded to first, second and third places in each category, for the professional. amateur and youth divisions. In addition an engraved plaque and year's judges are Burton Wasserman. Ray Doutherty and Philip Joyce. Artists may register through Friday. July It. CCC to Hold Financial Workshop VINEIAND - A workshop designed to explain applying for financial aid at Cumberland County College will be held in the student lounge 6:30 p.m. June 25. The workshop is timely because individuals who want to attend CCC for the fall semester and receive consideration for financial aid should complete appropriate paperwork by July 1, according to Joseph IHibbs. assistant dean of students. DURING THE workshop, Hibbs will discuss types of financial aid available at CCC. Also, assistance in completing the financial aid applications will be provided. Interested individuals should bring their 1985 income information (1040-non-taxable information > and. if they live with them, their parents' 1985 tax information.

Museum To Open Daily I SEA ISLE CITY — The city's Historical Museum will I be open to the public on a j daily basis starting June 28, according to an announcement by Museum Curator Harriet Reardon Baily. The museum traces the history of the resort of Sea Isle City both in artifacts and pictures over the years since its founding over a century ago. Many new displays will be featured throughout the summer season, Mrs. Bailey noted. "WE ARE always on the lookout for donations to our important city history collection," Mrs. Bailey said, "and we hope residents will continue to search their attics and garages for old photos and Sea Isle City memorobilia."1 The museum is directly behind Sea Isle City Hall at 4416 Landis Ave. Group tours are available by calling in advance at 263-4461.
