Ct. House I Historical Play Set COURT HOUSE - For the members of the Cape May County Historical and Genealogical Society, history will truly come alive on July 5 and 6 at the Old Court House when they host the Script-Teasers' production of "Commitment to America". Not only will they be able to bask in the history of the nation through narration and song, but they will be able to rub elbows with none other than Mrs. John Adams. Joan Sorbello Adams of Swedesboro protrays the famous Abigail Adams. And like her counterpart Abagail, she has strength and intelligence — by day Joan is a Philadelphia attorney who specializes in medical malpractice. Her stage husband John Adams, brings another John to her life in the person of John Muller of Mantua. an administrator in the Monroe Township Schools. The Historical Society's evening of musical drama will benefit its building fund to erect a new structure at their present home (The John Holmes Estate) to house its Genealogical Library and office. For tickets to "Commitment to America", call the Historical Society Office at i J 465-3535. |
