Computer Class Set COLD SPRING - Lower Township students in grades 3-6 will have the opportunity to learn computer programming as part of the district's summer school. Computer Camp will be held four days per week between June 30 and July 31. According to school officials, children will take part in one-hour classes and have the utilization of a TRS Color Computer II for instruction and programming. ERMA — Athletic Director Bill Garrison took a number of Lower Cape May Regional High athletes to the Bill Bradley Student/Athlete seminar at Rutgers University May 19. The seminar centered on the importancffof balance in life if one is^to^be successful. Speakers included Julius Erving of the 76ers and Dick Anderson, head football coach of Rutgers University. OF THE 39 senior athletes at Lower Cape May Regional. 16 are not only futhering their education. but are competing in athletics while in college. Another 12 are going to further their education, four are enlisting in the Armed Forces, and one is enrolled in the Police Academy. COURT HOUSE - First week's results in the Domino's Pizza Tennis League play, now underway at the Stone Harbor Golf and Country Club here, have been released. Results of the matches: Women's Singles: Tracey Hall defeated Bobbt Morier. 6-1. Mary Kittipaldi defeated Reeky Wallitch. 6-1. Al DeKeo and Richard Rogers defeated John Young and Armand Stecher. 6-1 Stone Harbor LL Tryouts STONE HARBOR - Tryouts for Lions Club Little League Baseball will be held Monday through Friday 9 a.m. for ages 8-13 at the 80th Street field. The program started yesterday and continues through Monday, Aug. 11. Eight-10-year-olds have baseball clinics and informal games Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until 10 a.m. Those who are selected for the teams have two games and three practices a week. Games are held Monday. Tuesday. Thursday. and Fridays at 6 p.m. Swim, Gym Schedules Announced CAPE MAY — The city is offering a variety of open programs now through the end of July as part of the summer recreation schedule. There is a senior citizen swim every Monday. Wednesday and Friday morning 9-10 a.m. A coed adult night 7-9 p.m. Monday is open to all men and women 18 and up. The gym and pool are open Tuesday 7-8:30 p.m is coed teen night as teenagers can use the swimming pool and gym. YOUTH AQUA hour 5:45-6:45 p.m. Saturday, is a chance for those under 17 to enjoy the pool and gym without parental supervision. Family night is a familyoriented program in which parents and children can exercise in the gym and pool 7-9 p.m. Saturday. All of these programs are held at the Cape May City Elementary School on Lafayette Street. Call the Department of Civic Affairs, 884-8411, ext. 20 or 27 for more information.
