DENNISVILLE - The Dennis Township Historical Society will hold its first annual Old Homes Tour 9-4 p.m. Saturday. Three houses never before on any county tour will be featured: The Elmer Smith House, owned by Dr. and Mrs. S. Mellman, 532 Main St., South Seaville, where Janet will demonstrate caning, an almost forgotten craft of earlier times. The Van Kirk House, a little yellow house in the backyard of Mr. and Mrs. S. Cepreghy's home on Petersburg Road Dennisville, where Steve will show old tools once used in this area. THE MAJOR GANDY » House, 180 Shore Rd., Ocean View, was once the home of Capt. Gandy, who served with the Sixth Cavalry during the Sioux Indian Campaign. Also of interest will be a tour of the old Union Cemetery on Delsea Drive in South Dennis, where many old tombstones can be found. Other houses and buildings on the tour are the Dennisville Methodist Church, where tickets may

be purchased for the tour . The Bushnell House owned by Mr. and Mrs. M. McGuigan; the Capt. John Douglas House owned by Ms. Alice Belanger where wall stenciling will be shown.
