Cub Scout Day Camp
SWAINTON - Almost 100 Cub Scouts from throughout Cape May County will converge on the County Park here to participate in the Annual Cub Scout Day Camp. July 21-25. Cub Day Camp is one of the highlight experiences of the Cub Scout year. Boys in 2nd through 5th grades will be participating in activities such as BB gun shooting, nature, sports, arts and crafts, leatherwork. and archery. NOONTIME demonstrations will be given in
karate, fire safety, and bloodhound use by the County Sheriff's Office. Da/ Camp will be 9 a.m. -3 p.m.. Monday through Thursday. Friday's Activities will start at noon, and include a campfire, awards ceremonies and picnic, and end at 8 p.m. Ken Danner, camp director. of Pack 84 in Cape May. and Madeline Palm, program director of Town Bank, invite all Cub Scouts to come out and have a good time. There is a fee for participation.

Dance Unit To Perform
WILDWOOD - The Casa Dance Studio Performance | Group will be at the bandI shell on the boardwalk here 7:30 p.m. Saturday. July 19. The bandshell is at Montgomery Avenue, and the I show is free to the public. The Performance group i is in its first year. Their I show consists of popular music, both old and new. including such favorites as I "Mickey". "It's Raining | Again", "Material Girl". » and "Conga". Ballet, tap. and jazz dances are all used to add variety to the show. The dance group, which is directed and choreographed by Anne Cassabian. is a group of students 5-25 years old. Within the course of the year the students will learn a minimum of six dance
numbers each, with the members of the Performance group learning 10 or more dance numbers to be included in the two school recitals and the Performance group shows.
