Kean Okays Chinnici Bills
TRENTON - Gov Thomas H. Kean has approved a number of Assemblyman Joseph W. Chinnici, (R> Cape MayCumberland, sponsored resolutions in the Joint Appropriations Committee, totalling in excess of $1.6 million dollars for the following programs: 1. $300,000 to create work details at Bordentown, Riverfront and Southern (Leesburg) State prisons, administered by the Department of Corrections; 2. $100,000 to help stimulate growth of the commercial fishing industry ;
3. $100,000 to add to the development of an Alzheimer's Disease Center in Camden ; 4. One million dollars to ensure sound investment in New Jersey's food and agricultural economy and help to become a center of excellence in agriculture. $50,000 to the Vineland Developmental Center for furniture and equipment; and 6. $50,000 to the Woodbine Developmental Center for the purchase of new ambulances.
Chinnici said, "with the governor's approval, my resolutions automatically become part of the 1986/87 budget. I am pleased that the final state budget includes programs important to South Jersey."
