Beach promotions for Lincoln Mercury's 1986 Mercury Sable will be held in two Cape May County communities July 12 and 26. The events will be staged noon-4 p.m. at the Ocean City Boardwalk and Mariner's Landing, Wildwood. Cars will be provided by Carter Lincoln mercury of Ocean City and Kindle Lincoln Mercury of Wildwood. The promotion will also include a message "typed" out in the sky by Skytypers planes. The computerized message, consisting of puffs of smoke "typed" out at 10,000 feet, will be visible over a 400-square-mile area. Weather permitting, the six World War II vintage Navy fighting planes will be flying their mission all along the New Jersey shore areas. La Leche Meetings
Mothers interested in breastfeeding their babies, and those who already are nursing, will find encouragement and information at La Leche League meetings. The Cape May group will meet 7:30 p.m., Thursday. July 17. Call 465-9321 for more information and location. The Court House group will meet 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 16; call 861-5956. Nursing babies and toddlers are welcome. THE LA LECHE League offers mother-to-mother help in a series of foufc informal monthly meetings based on the manual, The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. The meeting dicussions include the latest medical research, answers to questions about breastfeeding, as well as personal experiences.
