Library for Christmas
Would Get Library Started By Christmaa; To Be Open Two Nights A Week During Winter, from Six to Nine.
A meeting ol the library committee was held last Saturday, and it was decided to have the Horary open two nights a week during the winter months, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. frbm six to nine. The time was so set sd that persons going for their mail at six could stop in and exchange books if they so desired. Books will be allowed out one week, after which a fine of two cents a day
will be charged.
It is hoped to have the library started by Christinas. The committee will investigate the workings of the libraries in other County towns, and will get the State Library Commissioners to make suggestions. Donations of books and money

Starting with the first iaiue In January. 1*1*. the •ufaecnption price of the Cape May Count) Tunes will be advanced u* *1>0 per year, and a strict advance payment will be required. The change in subscription rate* has been inevitable. Every - item entering into the eoet of publishing a newspaper has advanced from 25 to 50 per cent, in the last five years, and during that time the TIMES has been published at a loss. Either one of two things were necessary to overcome this. Either make a smaller paper, with leas news, or raise the subscription price, and demand a strict adherence to the payment in advance
rule.
It will be noticed that practically all the magaxines that formerly sold for

The Young Men's Business Associaon held its first meeting, after the incorporation papers were filed and the body was legal, on December 4th, 1914. Since that time, it has accomplished much for the good of the City. A campaign for new members was launched at the meeting, and three teams appointed to make a canvas and secure applications for membership. It is planned to have the next year a banner one. The annual report of income and expenses will be ready for publication next week. An auditing committee will go over the statement. A motion was made and carried to invite the City officials to attend the meeting of the County Chamber of Commerce here next Wednesday. Edward B.
