The regular meeting of the County Chamber of Commerce of Seashore Resorts, was held at Peterson's Hall, on Wedneeday evening, with delegates from every resort but Ocean CHy present- The meeting was to have beep held in the City Hall, but thia was changed so that Doctor Headle, of the State Experimental
t, could deliv-
er his illustrated lecture on the work being done in the way of salt marah mosquito elimination. The lecture made a motion picture m.. nine neces-
aary.
Doctor Headle'* talk touched every point, and answered every question iff regard to this work, and all were covered In the motion pictures, and slides. He illustrated that by actual tests, made in the past two years, the result of draining marsh land and meadow land has been wonderful in reducing the cumber ot mosquitoes. Doctor Headle stated that the State id let the contract td drain the meadows from Beasley's Point to the Egg Harbor Inlet, Ocean City, at State e^iense, and the movement to drain the entire county's meadow land was merely a question of united support. The laws of 1912 make it mandatory upon the Freeholders to fur1 necessary money to do the work, and ha further stated, that in the past thJ State had furnished about one-third of the necessary amounts to carry on the work. It would cost about <100,000 to drain toe entire meadow* of the County. JUter his talk, a vote of thunka was extended to him. The chairman of the County Mosquito Extermination ComrniL^e then asked for a motion that a re£jnmitt*e be appointed, three from eac»> resort, to meet with the Commission A nd go before the Freeholders and aak'sfor tha neces-
