Oce*m City’s unmatchable strand attracts thousands of visitors every year. This picture was taken at low tide, and shows the splendid bathing beach at 12th Street. Ocean City lias seven , protected’beach, with life guards in constant attendance daring bathing hours. It was the safety and beauty of this beach that made Ocean City the greatest cottage resort in America, possibly nine-tenths of the visitors either renting or owning cottages, which they occupy for the season.

On educational lines, the State Summer School Board make Ocean City their head-quarters, and children of non-residcuts are privileged to take advantage inspecial lines free. This school is the largest in the State. Our water is supplied by artesian wells of about 1000 feet depth, aud it said by Dr. Henry Lefferman, the noted scientist, to be absolutely pure and superior to any artesiau water that has come to his notice. In religions matters, every denomination have their place of worship, the Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopalian, Roman Catholic and Baptist have all fine churches centrally located.
