Mr r’iD’h then took the floor, and stated that the reorganization was be Ing effected, under a provision of the law permitting It and that be felt that Mr Chapman, being the oldest mem her on the Board, and the oldest resident of Sea Isle City, was entitled to the honor of the office of Mayor. Director Chapman replied to this, that the very tact of Mr. Fitch making the siaicment that he did showed that lie was working without selfish interest, and wholly In the interest of Sea Isle City. Mr. Love moved that the nominaons close, and the Cletjt cast the ballot for Mr. Fitch, who was declared duly elected by him.
