-At the regular meeting of tbe S Harbor Borough Council, held at Borough Hall on Monday evening, the resignation of Councilman Clerk, held over from the last meeting, was accepted. and William Geller. of Stone Harbor and Philadelphia, was appointed to fill the unexpired term, to take bla aeat at the next meeting. Ings read showed that Mayor Krouse ha* secured a loan for the Borough of 99000 from tbe Broadway Trust Company, of Camden, with which to pay past due Interest on bulkhead bonds. Councilman Watkins, chairman of the amusement committee, reported that he had rented the municipal'pier on a basis of one-thtrd of tbe gross receipts to go to the Borour.b. and that the Pier was now In operation under this plan, with contracts properly
executed.
An auditor, from the Philadelphia auditing concern which ha* been going over the books of the retiring Borough Collector, reported that all the securities were intact, and the bogfr in balbut that the Sinking raft Comm had held no meetings and had i-erformed several acts which were contrary to heat practice, and recommended that the entire Commission be •Uncharged and a nev: commission ap pointed.
