Belleplain school, were assembled in one room. Mrs. E. H. Osgood presided and introduced, Mrs. Grace, principal of the primary department, *ho spoke of Isabella's part in the Great Adventure and Mr. Hcward •Warren principal of the intermediate department, who told of Ferdinand's contemptible neglect of the great Discoverer in hi* old sge and poverty, Mia* Dorothy Hofiman, of the eighth grade read a (ketch of Colombo* and the sixth grade read Joguire Millsr’a "Sail On" in concert. The pnpils ol all three room* anawered questions which gave a comprehensive review of the trusting and signifigance of the day and joined heartily in singing Uie National Anthems.

AVALON. Mrs. F. A. Davis was in town a few days this week, closing his cottage for the winter. Kev. T. A.
