Carol at Cape May. - Many people were awakened about four o clock Christmas morning by the uell known Christmas Carol* in Cape May City. The boys and girls of the High School and some of their friends braved the cold of early morning to go about the town singing Carols. The singing wa* very good aa many of the student- have exceptionally fine voices. Wfll Raise Shore Line Fares. Fares on the Shore Line from Ocean City to Atlantic City are to be raised on January 24th. After that date the fare from Ocean City to Atlantic City will be 42c, and 84c return. The fare sc roe* the bridge to Somers Poln*. which tvs always been ten cents, will be raised to 13c. This Is the second j increase In two years on this line. Ocean City Trolley In Muddle. The trolley situation In Ocean City la still very much muddled, but the problem of transporting pupils from distant points In the city to the schools Is temporarily solved. Inasmuch as the troiley company has agreed in continue operation until some final disposition of the road was made. The operation is under an arrangement whereby the city makes up any deficit that may be incurred by the company in the road's

operation.

Wildwood had its usual Community Christmas Tree on Wednesday evening of last week, in front of the High School Building. At the last meeting of the Wildwood City Commissioners a request was wade that an annual license fee of *100 be assessed upon every firm or individual engaged in real estate transaciton*. and that a fee of *1,90(1 be exacted for the privilege of conducting business cf aa auctioneer. It was suggested that this matter be taken under advisement, and the communication was ordered received and filed.
